Pangkor Becomes Duty Free.
The year 2020 marked an important new chapter in the story of Pangkor.
Effective 1 January 2020, Pangkor entered a new era as a duty free island. The milestone created new opportunities for tourism and retail while adding another dimension to the experience of visiting the island.
For visitors, Pangkor continued to offer the natural beauty and relaxed island character it was known for while welcoming new experiences that could become part of their journey.
